The Diligent Student It is as a warrior that Arjuna is best known. The foundation for his career as a warrior was laid young; Arjuna was an outstanding and diligent student, learning everything that his guru Dronacharya could teach him Guru Dronacharya once decided to test his students. He hung a wooden bird from the branch of a tree and then summoned his students. One by one, he asked his students to aim for the eye of the wooden bird and be ready to shoot; then, when they were ready, he would ask the student to describe all that he was able to see. The students generally described the garden, the tree, flowers, the branch from which the bird was suspended and the bird itself. Guru Dronacharya then asked them to step aside. When asked what he could see, Arjuna told his Guru that he could only see the bird's eye. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arjuna |

BasserAhmed... :) You make it sound like this "10-Module Package" is only about head knowledge... It is definitely not enough to have read through the 10-Module tome and know the teachings academically... More is required... Specifically, it requires a commitment to make oneself a good trader by living the teachings as though it is one's religion. One should not just pay lip service to a chosen belief system, but give it all the faith we've got, especially if it can stand the test of time ... Heart knowledge is the key to stock market trading success, not just head knowledge... ![]() |

u can consider Saxobank trading acct, when u open acct with them u can trade almost everything u want in this world, bonds, futures, forex, cfd, stocks and commodities. also their cfd package is very wide, unlike local brokers, really have to say they cmi compared to their overseas peers, dun even have stop lost buy/sell limit for their online trading. this is one of the reason why many sporean TA ppl lose money coz mechanical s/l is always better than emotional s/l. also, saxobank cfd allows up to 20x levearge. great for reversal days. what i like is CFD for Indexs ETF. trading this is enough liao if u want a living off trading. |

Loushare... :) CFD is a must if you are an advanced trader, but it is not suitable for those who have only a basic knowledge of the stock market, since a reasonably advanced knowledge of TA is required to short stocks successfully. Normally, when we sell a stock, we need to have that stock before we can sell it. But With the CFD service, the CFD broker will settle this for you, as they have the means to 'borrow' on your behalf the stock you want to short, so you need not worry about having bought the stock first. Thus, you can simply sell a stock which is on their CFD stocks list and hold this short position for as long as you like, but normally you would want to liquidate (once you have made enough profits) by a buying aka 'covering' transaction to settle that open position. But CFD is not only for shorting... it is just as good for buying stocks, in which case you have a 5X leverage. I think CFD is the most wonderful service ever invented for stock traders!... ![]() |

i know, i seriously need to open my cfd acct man. have been too out of it. urgh. esp since the tools for predicting down is the same as predicting up, just reverse direction only. haha. thanks to all for their advice! :) focus on locking in this coming week liao. sti in overbought. also note quite a bit of cowboy activity on a lot of counters, last 5 min or post closing bell sudden large lots dumped or bought on counters. like SPH, singpost, cosco, yanlord. 1st two sold down, last two bought up. Signal of cowboy BBs in. be prepared for a volatile week next week. esp when vol is low, it means massive movements probable. both shorts and longs are in when hedge funds play. forewarned is forearmed. cheers! |

HarryP... :) You have obviously gotten into the flow of things... and 'stock market enlightenment'... a state akin to 'Nirvana' of bourse, to borrow a divine term... ! Way to go, man !... And I certainly don't compare it to "An Ancient Taoist's Secret Manual' for nothing... hehehe... ![]() |

Mani... :)) Agree on the value of this book StockMarket Genie. Whenever I read this book, it opens new doors in my trading career and I see things that were previously unaware of but somehow have done it either knowing or unknowing, correctly or incorrectly. I would say this book is beyond theory. Theory can be learnt and put to practice and there are tons of such in the market. But here the teaching is is very different, looks like more for cultivating a way of life. Imagine how difficult is to to be able to achieve a state of oneness with the market so that one is in the flow with the market and seeing the market just as in the moment and react accordingly in the present moment...... just appetizer.... :)) |

Lausk22... :)... No matter what happend to the stock market, we must remain absolutely objective and unemotional... This is very, very hard to practise... And this is what I practise (as distinct from just knowing it), a state of thinking which I also learned from the gurus who have so painstakingly and lovingly brought the "10-Module Stock Market Manual" to serious people (ie. people who are serious about learning and putting the teachings into practice in their lives). They have "cracked the stock market code" in the sense that they have found the right approach to tackling the beast.... ![]() |
