What Singaporegal said is so very true... Furthermore, trading opportunities are are always popping up all year round. But at the same time, one must not see trading opportunities everywhere all the time. One must only hunt around for the greatest setups to enter... the ones which are so ripe and juicy. So in the meantime, not having any position is a position in itself. Remember, in order to play properly, stock market education is very, very important. Otherwise, if one just 'gasak' based on hot tips and exciting rumours, one can end up losing a lot of $$$. So it's better to be knowledgeable by spending some time and money on some good stock market education. => "Stock Market Genie" - a beautifully-written 10-module stock market knowledge course. I highly recommend this. And it is my favourite reference too...

Cutting loss is the real secret to not losing a lot... If you lose a bit... it is so hard to make back... If you lose a lot, it is even harder to make back... Not losing is already winning!... this is the real hard reality...

I agree with Singaporegal "It is one of my strong beliefs that Lost Opportunities are always better than Lost Money". Yes, we say "learn from our mistakes". But just remember one thing. It is ok to make small mistakes and you can learn and make a comeback. But when you fall very, very, hard once, it might be very hard to make a comeback.It could be game over. It is not so much wheher you are a FA or TA expert. You might be a expert in FA or TA but if you don't have money management skills or cannot manage your risk profile, it is no point. |

thanks to all of you being constructive.... I learn my lesson n in fact it is a norm for normal human ego to strick even if I warn myself before .. but indeed we need good skills to face great challenges... everyday is a new day with new senario... so it is a reminder to everyone, take life easy and there's always a sunrise the next day, so no hurry to chase the sunset |
