Can see from the charts liao. But think there is another last leg for mid and small caps. Also depends on market sentiments too. Not so soon lah.  Nearer or  after US election bah... BBs come and BBs go. They cannot control the whole market  for long  because they are also small fish compared to other  bigger whales. Lol.

This is a very strong statement - those who swear by charts won't like it and those who earn a living teaching charts too.  BBs know charts too and they obviously can play you out from the reading of the charts as you mention in Wilmar's case so I also won't  put too much weight on charts.  Anyway, the sifus who earn a living teaching people how to use charts also admit they never claim more than 60-70% accuracy at best, unlike some forerunners who  are extremely confident  such and such stocks will definitely chiong or dive based on charts alone.  I also remember reading one experiment where they asked a monkey to  select some stocks to buy and pitted the monkeys predictions against some establised traders using charts alone.    The traders didn't do better than the monkey.  risktaker      ( Date: 25-Oct-2012 12:04) Posted: No..... for my level.... x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Risk, your institutional buying or selling define the chart. But for small timers like me, we use chart and tape reading to gauge the balance of buying and selling power. Not foolproof, since institutional can really " paint" (read: manipulate) the chart or the tape to lure retails. That's why I prefer liquid counter with certain threshold for the capitalisation and multiple institution in-play.
