If really shoot ourselves in the foot, our children and their children might change their surnames and put the blames on us. Lol. As long as interest rates stay low, and people can afford to pay instalments, its not a problem. If drop 30-40% thats anotther matter altogether, but I suspect when it drops 10-20% alot of people will rush in to buy already. Nowadays many people cash out of HDB holding alot of cash. Plus alot of couples combined CPF balances enough to pay instalments already. x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	It is just a matter of time.  Recent months properties have been geting very hot, and prices are shooting artificially higher and higher.  Money mostly came from overseas and once it gets dried the fall will begin.  Hongkong properties have shown " slightly" dropping so Singapore is just waiting in the queue. When properties drop, many will be hard hit, but stocks might performing differently, I think. x 1   x 0  Alert Admin	Holding well doesnt mean it is strong. There are already clear signs of distribution in background. It is just not  time to move yet because  'they' want to trap more traders as possible.  If you notice the past few weeks are on low volume. This shows lack of demand from 'professionals'. Volume is the best indicator to detect 'professionals' or BBs. Once it is ready to move down, it will be swift. STI has been sideways since end of july until now.  This range  can give you a  clue how strong the next move will be. If it is ready to go down,  STI can  go below 2800 for sure. If you want to play safe, short only when 2975 breaks on increasing volume. goodluck!
