If day trading suits you, it is not right to say that position trading is bad. it just does not suit your personality. it is just like a pair of shoes, it might fit you well but will not fit to others. you need to find the right shoe for you. there is no need to fight. we all know both your strategies are different. i think you will be better off if you ignore since it might just affect your mood.

For all race regardless of trading style, just like karate, or shao lin, every skill got it advantage. but just dont make mistake, or rather make less, then u will make more money. for all style, just remember that u must have a stop for all stye of trade, whether long , short or trade to protect your capital. just like u are in the ring,u run out of luck and face a stronger opponent, surely u cannot stay in there for long, u need a break for u to recuperate to go fo another round. Only fool stay and get slaughter in the end, and got no means even to throw back a single punch, be like a guerilla warfare. Actually, we are too small for the market, really, so small like an electron compare to the whole cosmo. world mkt is some 55 T, so what is WB??? Bill Gates.

Dow is so good for scalping and intraday trading. ukomichi      ( Date: 21-Nov-2012 18:42) Posted: both sides only have different views and strategies so it is normal to clash or disagree. looks like alex is looking at shorter term timeframe (day trading, FIFO), while the bears (iso and monk) are looking at longer term timeframe (they have shorted early so they are just riding the downtrend and maybe adding to their short positions based on their posts). each will have their own strategy. there is nothing wrong with that. what is important is we are earning money. in the market, bulls make money, bears make money and pigs get slaughtered.just make sure you are not a pig who keep on losing money.
