Dji is a price weighted index. If you think it will go down signiicantly, you need most it's component stock price to go down too. Actually whether you place long or short doesn't matter (index trading is a derivative of the actual index), but the price of its component does. Economic performance plays an important role on the index. In my opinion, charts are only useful if conditions stay the same, Ceteris paribas. | ||||

congrats to those who went long earlier. however, long term bulls should not be confident yet but can start to take profit for a swing trade. we are still on a downtrend short term in daily chart. big bears will most probably come out and short around this range 12920 to 13037. the climb from nov 16 till yesterday is on declining volume and will not be sustainable (technical bounce only). it is better to see dow test this region first 12467 to 12591. |

Given the dji now, don't know who's running. Almost 150pts above 12724 of someone's short. I'm not vested, but if there was a stop loss at 50pts, re-enter short at this price would have saved 100pts. If the contract size is 2-3, then impact is rather small. | ||||

Nobody knows the market well enough than Mr Market himself. There's nothing wrong with buying in at the current market if you choose the counter correctly. Even a blood letting market can still produce winners like F& N, Cerebos, Sakari..... just to name a few. No one is an expert unless he hold insider news and nobody will be a constant loser if he's got the time on his side unless he choose to be one. | ||||

When I first post on this thread after a long break... Giving warning STI will go down.... At that time, those fools still singing song to buy... Now sti already below 3000 and they still buy.... I am here just for the fated one....
Just seeing some green today, they start to come out singing song again... Not knowing a bigger drop is already on the way.... Trap to make the pigs walk to their death.... Lol |
