Talking change is easy, but "walking the change" is when the uncommitted falls by the wayside.

By all accounts, UMNO, of all political parties in Malaysia, is a most unlikely candidate for change. It is stuck in a time warp. Its leadership, never known for its ability to focus on critical national issues and respond quickly to the needs of the moment, more often than not UMNO continues to stumble from crisis to crisis, quite unaware why even the Malays who should be rallying round to support it are instead turning their backs on it.

UMNO is not ready to move forward. More baffling is why its leaders are making overtures to Mahathir to return and even act as "adviser". It somehow suggests complete arrogance, totally muddled thinking and a disdain for Malaysian public opinion on their part. It is, I am convinced, a pathological streak that is part of the UMNO political tradition. We have had enough of Mahathir's brand of "good governance" for twenty-two agonising, heart-rending, years that saw "Grand Corruption",

Dr Mahathir To Rejoin Umno In A Day Or Two - Mukhriz wishes to re-live 26yr back..Ya.

SUNGAI PETANI, April 2 (Bernama) -- Former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad will rejoin Umno in a day or two, Dr M son, Datuk Mukhriz said Thursday.

Mukhriz, the Jerlun M.Parliament, said his father would campaign in Bukit Selambau and Bukit Gantang by-elections. He added that Dr Mahathir's return to the party was the most important thing for him now. Why so...so as to remotely promote his son to be the next M'sia PM. "The most important thing for me is Tun Dr Mahathir's return to Umno and this will become a reality in a day or two," (been a Ummo as 001 is one thing and been a ministry is another thing) he told reporters after visiting the Taman Joget homestay here.

Meanwhile, Mukhriz said (goes bagging for a post) that he was prepared to accept any responsibility given by Najib, "If he feels that I can contribute, I'm willing to accept any responsibility given to me," he said. teeth53 thot so, his son will have to wait..as Dr M has spews more venom..it's interesting to know how he can bring his son into been a  youth ministry w/o much experience but as good as like son-like father in politic...re-live 26 years back type of autocratic rule...Ya.

Think think if Dr M is assign a job and 1 2 to be king maker, the 1st thing he must do is to declare to be royal to Najib openly and make promises to  win back the crowd and public confident and not Ummo giving him confident...can that he...be so sure to win back public confident after spliting so much venom on his choosen successor and declare 'I made one mistake - picking Pak Lah'. it only show how a wily old fox mis-judge on his chosen one and also on KJ..Just as human..lah. Dr mahathir to rejoin Ummo as member..!! while teeth thot next future M'sia PM is newly elected Ummo Vice-president...He is Mr Hishammuddin Hussein, son of former M'sia PM Hussein Onn and grandson of Ummo founder, Onn Jaafar, a close cousin of incoming M'sia PM Najib Razak.

Mahathirism star is not showing any bright spark, is not only losing flavour, but also fading into and hoping to becoming a ministry mentor, just like MM Lee. He who lost two round in two battle for his son stake, now want to make up for lost time in politic, will he change ?, will Najib's give him space to be MM Dr Mahathir or to become Ummo Supreme Adviser..?.and then have more pocket money to buy another RM$10 million house.  the honest way.
