there are some articles in the research section in ShareJunction. But you don't need local websites to learn charting. its universal... the sites that have been listed are pretty good enough. if you want to go into detail, its better to buy a good book. |

Hi swkee28, TA can be used for all stocks. It can also be used for long term analysis. However, the future is filled with so much uncertainty, so it may not be very accurate. I use RSI, stochastic oscillator (similar to Williams %R), chart patterns, draw trendlines and determine supports and resistances. Charts and the stock market factor in the outllook for the next 12 months or so and are quite efficient in doing it. |

Hi swkee28, I am a TA purist and base my decisions solely on what I see in charts. This is my personal opinion only - charts actually factor in market sentiment because it measures buying and selling interest (especially the Acc/Dist and Chaikin charts). However, I find that charting can only "see" into the short term future ... like 2-4 weeks. Also, it doesn't really work for stocks that are very very volatile and highly speculative - eg. penny stocks. I combine these charts together because they tell me different things - Acc/Dist, RSI, Williams %R and Bollinger Bands. They are my favorite combo. |

Hi All Members, Dynamic chartings offer dif views and developments. Bar-Line-Canalestick-Acc/Dist-Chalkin Ose-Bolinger-Macd & Moving Avr juz to name a few!!!!!! What is the best way to chart the movements of stocks in-order to max profits and loss? Do all these charting really show a "A True & Fair View of Stock" in future trading and developments? Thanks for sharing yr views. |
