I thought China is to give up nuclear plant. ? I think after this desaster, people from those countries which want to pursue with the building of nuclear plant will protest. Sorry to say that, but the 3 in one desaster is really a showcase for the whole world and this video throughout should be the best  professional news shooting. and due to it's advance technology unlike the huge one in Indonesia and New Orlean, all the shocking details were almost typed down and broadcast to all over the global where many of us got to really understand the  power  of the tsunami,, the risk in building  nuclear plant. really the world should seriously looking into going " green" . I think our govt will rethink about using nuclear plant. I would rather they switch on only alternate lamps on the main road and find ways to save energe and not building nuclear plant. hai shi bu zhi dao si ma?   |

Many Asian govts seem to continue to embrace nuclear energy. Most of the planned 155 nuclear reactors are in Asia. Vietnam plans 8 nuclear plants by 2030. Indonesia plans 4 nuclear plants  by 2025. An Indonesian spokeman for Indonesian National Nuclear Energy Agency got a cheek to say that Indonesia is better prepared than Japan and South Korea. India plans to have 20 nuclear power plants in the next 20 yrs. China is set toadd 10 to the 27 nuclear reactors. A Malaysian  twittered he is quite happy to see Malaysia build a nuclear plant as long as it is built next to the prime minister's house. |

In the forum pg of The Straits Times, Cindy Low questioned Spore Govt's consideration of building a nuclear plant. Spore govt over-confidence should realise the  saying   " Bu pa yi wan but pa wan yi" by now. | ||

Radiation levels around reactors are now a threat to human health, the Japanese government said Tuesday. A fire has broken out at the number-four reactor at the quake-hit Fukushima No. 1 atomic power plant and radiation levels have risen considerably, Japanese Prime Minister Naoto Kan said. People between 20-30 km from reactor should stay indoors, Kan said. Even efficient Japan cannot 100% prevent nuclear disaster, can Indonesia and many less efficient countries prevent nuclear mishap. |

I opt for clean enegry  - nuclear if its really stable and safe. If only my cars can run on it for  5-8 years life span, i need not refuel. If only my mobile phone can run on it  for 2 years life span, i need to recharge every other day. If only my  mac air  can run on it for 3 years life span, it will be true a portability and I will  need not bring a charger everywhere I go. |

FUKUSHIMA, Japan (Reuters) - A hydrogen explosion rocked the earthquake-stricken nuclear plant in Japan where authorities have been working desperately to avert a meltdown, compounding a nuclear catastrophe caused by Friday's massive quake and tsunami. I have always reservation regarding nuclear energy. Noted that Indonesia is embarking on Nuclear Energy and Indonesia is in the range of volcanoes and earthquake. It is high time Indonesia  and countries in quake and vocalnoes region to stop using or embarking on nuclear energy. |
