As long as you are a shareholder you can attend the meeting. In 99.99% of the cases, the management of the company will have extensive meeting with major shareholders BEFORE AGM. To ensure all resolutions are passed lor. A revolt will not happened in a well run companies during AGM. The reason people go to AGM is to quiry the management for roadmaps, plan, execution of objectives, salary packages. To clear their doubt about the resolutions to say. Or simply items that is not on the annual report. And of course, many also bring plastic bags along. BTW why got bad post ?? |

I have a question. Let's say I bought the shares of a company on a certain date, but I did not make it in time to receive the annual report. Am I still able to attend the AGM and vote as a shareholder if I have shares in my account not less than 48 hours before the AGM? Thanks in advance |
