In other words, total dividend payout is 25 cents per share for the financial year ended 31 August 2009 : Interim : 7 cents (paid during the year) Final : 9 cents (payable in Dec) Special : 9 cents (payable in Dec). Last heard, the company over bidded $160 million for a plot of land in the suburb of Clementi. That was equivalent to 10 cents per share. Had management done its job well, the company could have either declared a higher sum of dividend for shareholders or enforced a less stringent wage cut! |

thanks so much for answering so many seem to think only got .09 dividend. So that a good divi for 3.80 stock and sph is a not so bad company |

It a final divds of $0.09 ordinary + $0.09 special +$0.18 to be paid on 23rd Dec 09. Last day cum divds date is 8th Dec 09.

can anyone please confirm if there are two dividends for sph due dec ....one special + one ordinary. I think some are confused |
