message noted with thanks. yes, i actually not too sure how to decide which investment to keep for long / short term (eg GNW) as i only follow blindly what people say :( :( :( when i first buy GNW, i did not think much, just give it a try and see how it goes. luckily it turn out good result.. i feel unconfortable on doing what i do now(follow blindly). therefore, i need to learn some trading/investment technique/basic analyse skill from all Sifus. so that i can at least to identify different kind of stocks either for short term or long term investment.

ok, noted. thank you very much for you valuable advice. btw, anyone can give me some opinion on LVS (las vegas sands) & MGM (MGM Mirage Inc) LVS price went up from $7++ to $10++ now after the announcement on optimism an initial public offering of the casino company's Macau assets would take place in Hong Kong as early as next month. MGM - any idea why this counter went up from $5++ to $7++? Tq.

With the profits, you can sell partially and re-invest in other stocks that has more upside. Spread your eggs into two or more baskets. If no option, take back your principal sum and put in fixed deposit. Keep some for further upside. | ||||

U hv got 246% return, not sure wat to do? Wat is your earning losing setting? Ask d same person who told u d good stuff about it, for hoping earning more. Or whether u can get some info fr below website, esp corporate mtg and result announcement at the below Ex. If still stuck, kindly ask your broker to find out for u.

Could someone give me some advice on US market. Sometime back in jan this year i bought some GNW(Genworth Financial Inc)@ 2.80 without doing any analysis abt the co, just follow blindly someone said. i know i m silly :( luckily GNW price up at 6.89 now, again i heard someone said this company has potential to grow much highier. Their qtryly result is out soon on 30 jul'09 i not too sure if i should sell or hold the it now. it would much appreciated if anyone can give me some guidance on how to analyse a company if it is potential to grow and worth for investment (basic analysis to invest in a company). thank you for your time. |
