Heng Long up 6.25% to 59.5 cents at 10:35 a.m.Stock of Heng Long International, the producer of crocodile leather, has jumped by 6.25% to 59.5 cents ay 10:35 a.m. after French luxury goods group LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton reported on Friday it planned to buy a 51% controlling stake in the company. |

LVMH Moët Hennessy and the Koh family, the founders and controlling shareholders of Heng Long International Ltd. have reached an agreement to jointly own and control Heng Long. Under this agreement, HLI Holding Pte. Ltd., a dedicated holding company, will make a cash offer for 100% of the outstanding shares in Heng Long for a total consideration of S$160.8 million (i.e. approximately €92million). HLI has received irrevocable undertakings from the Koh family to accept the Offer in respect of their entire shareholding interest of Heng Long shares, representing approximately 74% of the total issued share capital of Heng Long. Following the close of the Offer, the Koh family will re-invest a substantial portion of their proceeds from accepting the Offer and, as a result, HLI will be owned 51% by LVMH and 49% by the Koh family. Heng Long International, the supplier of crocodilian leather, says the Asia-Pacific unit of LVMH, the French manufacturer of luxury goods such as wine, watches and leather goods, has made a voluntary conditional cash offer valued at $120 million to acquire all the issued and paid-up ordinary shares of the company. LVMH is offering to buy 197.5 million shares at 61 cents each. The offer price represents a premium of 76.5% over Heng Long’s last traded price of 34 cents on May 5. |

Heng Long has undergone for a long technical correction for almost two months . It has rebounded since beginning of this week to close at 47.5 cents with heavy volume . Daily ADX was turning up from 21 and DIs are positively crossed . RSI is also positive at 68 . If Heng Long could continue surging with heavy volume breaking new high , its upside target would be 81 cents .

Heng Long has made a correction for almost two months , n pulling back to the Fibo's 50 % at 39 cents .It would have completed the correction for making a turned around recently . Now the resistances are at 45 cents n 51 cents respectively .

Heng Long did not hold above 43.5 cents , it continued the pull back . It may to reach the 50 % Fibo zone at 38 cents n is still above 100MA . Weekly ADX is falling but DIs are still intact .

wanted to go in when it was 50++ cents, lucky nv. dunno now if should enter, it has retraced to 50% of the rise, nt sure if it will hit the 67% retracement mark but just worry, with the recovery of economy getting weaker, it may affect demand for luxury gds, later affect the takeover :( |

Heng Long has pulled for a minor correction last week to reach 43.5 cents . After this short correction , the support is now at 43.5 cents , n the upside target to reach would be above 80 cents .

Heng Long has been in the tight range since its IPO for almost three years . It broke the rectangular formation on 10/05/11 with healthy volume n went into a new uptrend .ADX is rising while directional movement index are positively placed .RSI is at over-bought position . Chaikin Oscillator which is showing powerful uptrend is at new high . | ||||

The counters you talked about are from different classes, so it is difficult to compare apples with oranges. But on the whole I disagree that a Co like Heng Long will go under when it is making money yearly. |

Hi, new here. But I think as Mr Laulan puts it. "This counter has been rarely traded". So by the time singtel reaches sky high prices, this stock could still be dangling at current pricing coz nobody to push it up.
