Come, join us in online trading, I used to call broker to buy n sell . Now I'm in online , it's easier , cheaper , convenient , own time own target ,....BUT need a lot of Discipline cos sometimes get too BOLD (Greed overcome) , end up losing $$$ :-(

I can identify with you Abit-loss. My broker also the same. Infact, if u were to speak to most people in this industry, G13, is never their cup of tea except ppl in this forum. Honestly, don't understand why?
Since following this thread, i am more adamant in insisting i want to buy cos previously when my broker commented, i wavered.
Yesterday, want to buy at 2.10, he also advised not, in the end got it at 2.11 n sold at 2.18 this morning 
Perhaps, its high time we look into online trading like the rest of the members

Have been following this thread and the previous one and decided to make my virgin post today!
Have been trading contra on genting SP. IMHO, i think the bb want the price to go up today but the resistance is probably too high for them to absorb so they are playing games to let it go lower to create some fear. Not sure if i am right, still holding at 2.22
Most prob will go higher tmr i reckon.

BT, I always slow and miss the sampan... is because I do not have any online trading account. Everytime I call to the broker, he always tells me it is not time to enter... and he is always wrong... remember the SGX about shorting within the day? He also mentioned it is dangerous, do not understand the market reaction.... that opportunities is also lost... yesterday expected shorting also opportunity lost... : (

Personally i prefer to trade online as the brokerage fee is much lower especially trading in huge lots.:)
