hell. they're really running this baby to the ground. 3000 lots sold at 1.06. why are the small fries still rushing in to buy?!

stay out, people. elfie seldom gives direct warning, but this time. Stay out. If you're looking to square up, not yet.

zhenxian, refer to my post on 26th feb. 8.1 is the support. note that resistance now will be ~8.5.

viruz. don't buy in further. if you're not on margin, don't sell, either. wait for rebound. if you still have cash, at bottoming, buy in if you dare to sq up. rebound not likely soon though.

caveat applies to all the above yea. it's a dangerous game now, and we gotta acknowledge that.

jackjames, if it's intraday you're talking about. then: not likely 0.985 today.

lowest likely is 1.03. my guess for today's close is 1.06-1.07.

follow the patterns. shortists need to buy back later.

agree with zhuge liang. the CPO plays have recently ran up by a lot. some more than 60%. naturally there'd be profit taking, plus shorting. it's common sense. no reason to panic.

for those in the long term, FA investors: the CPO plays are still some of the more attractive options. no reason to let profit taking shake your position.

jamesang, all counters are, to a certain extent, manipulated. it's simply the degree. markets move on irrational emotions, after all.

tech call still holds. now that 2.2 is broken, 2.04-2.07 (the gap pointed out by DnApeh) is the next support. two scenarios: breaking that support, or staging a tech rebound from there. follow daily trend to see which happens.

first resistance is hence 2.3.

note: above for short term only.

mid-term outlook (~1mth) is downtrend.

two ways for this counter to go: either like gems tv, or a sudden resurgence. the latter, if happening, will not be anytime soon though. been calling sell on this baby since it was $2 plus.

take care.

gold is up to 969.

sti calls. sure, winstontkl. :)

headsup first signal: when people are too afraid to buy. need to pick the calls with longer expiry dates though (think end april, or at least, end march). and sufficiently high volume. *hint hint* :P

watch sti 2800. if that holds, it's strike. if not, 2,600. need to see daily charts. expect it to be a fast play, esp to buy. Take advantage of shortists and negative sentiment. (if you're up to it, may watch for puts on individual counters currently; although, i personally prefer to focus one thing at a time.)

ok. i'd best be off to bed. not good to keep missing morning trading. haha. nites all!

think dow will close negative tonight. although, won't really matter much, except for the steepness of sti movement tomorrow, which is almost certainly down. the seeds were planted this afternoon already. you see it all across the board. especially so when volumes are thin. if pennies haven't dropped much, that's cos most of them have been bled so badly the previous falls, there's almost nothing left to bleed. >~<
