Yah, 81 posted below in the wrong post. BIG never pay any div since FY05. Its 1H09 will come

out soon, likely today or next week. As its last one was on 12 Nov 07.

Buy-In Last Cum Date :

10 Nov 2008- with the new naked short rule, AK think this line is not applicable liao. Pse confirm with ds coy.

Before 28 Sep 08, it simply means, if u naked short a stock on 4 Nov,

CDP needs T + 4, at 11.30am to buy in the stock u shorted. In this case

on 10 Nov, as 8 is Sat n 9 is Sun, both non trading day, no count.

Hence, who ever buy in the stock on 10 Nov before 11.30, the owner

is entitled for div. Just presumes he had bought the stock on 4 Nov.

hey brother, where did you get this? Biosensor didn't give out any dividend, don't make me happy... SGD 0.05 somemore, that is like 1 lot SGD 50...

x 0 		Sorry, AK anticipated that it will announce report card this week. As its last 1H08 was on 12 Nov 07. Henceforth, should be around this timing. However, with current market sentiment it may not hold the temp surge price after the report card. Just like Wilma n Golden Agri. AK bought it thinking that it was quite cheap though is not bottom yet. Just to occupy my time, n see got kopi money with short trading.

Yeah 787180, I believe he could have 6000 lots. Buy and sell 500 lots at a time x 12 times = 6000 lots.

But he was given placement shares of 3000 lots so he got a cheap bargain.  Bengster is a big man.  Few people can equate with him, frankly and sincerely.  But whether he is a good man, I cannot say..He

To those who are innocently invested like me, I must say.  Look at your own positions.  If you are overall ok with your finances, stay put, no buy and no sell.  Keep what you have and don't like AK go in to average, because unless we are some insiders who know the dark truth, we might get stuck for some time.  The only hope for us will be a takeover of BIG by some good foresighted concerns who are willing to pay the price of goodwill in BIG's vast researches into heart problems and method logics of its stents.

It will surely happen.

wow.. u buy again to average? cool..

i didn't... my average price still remain at 0.36....  arrggh... while it was 0.325. i thought my dream will achieved... oh well, that's 20 lots.

I'm not sure if the guidance in late 2007 even include the JWMS deal as there were several facors that were subjected to regulatory approvals.

I like this part of the nalysis the best-'As an acquisition target, significant accretion to an acquirer's market share and technology pipeline outweighs profitability concerns'. Huh??Kekeke...

Believe what you like, you will do well to look at the quarter to quarter performance of BIG. The headline numbers dun offer much.Next two quarters should provide more clarity.

The following 2 paragraphs are extracted from OCBC Research :

Market share vs. profitability.

Biosensors' gross margins have and will continue to improve due to 1) sales increase in high margin DES products; 2) better optimisation in balancing direct sales force vs. distributors and; 3)greater efficiencies from its operations. We continue to adhere to our stance that Biosensors will fixate on gaining market share (growing revenue) in the near term vs. cutting costs to attain profitability. This is to gain elevated market presence and to eventually position itself for an acquisition.


Good company, but better target.

While we agree that Biosensors has breakthrough technology, we are mindful that the medtech world continually sees consolidation. As an acquisition target, significant accretion to an acquirer's market share and technology pipeline outweighs profitability concerns. Although details were lacking due to competitive reasons, management updated that its next-gen BioMatrix-Freedom polymer-free DES continues to garner good feedback. Our checks in the US Patent database shows Biosensors' Freedom stent patent was filed on 21 May 2007.

 Note : The guidance (regarding profitability) given in late 2007 is no longer valid due to the failed JWMS deal.

True revenue is secondary, profits is just about everything. They did give guidance in late 2007. Sorry I dun have them now but I did post it last year. I specifically remember them saying that they would be cashflow positive sometime in 2009. Bengster then gave his version of wat the guidance should have been, much to my chagrin. Well, good things come to those who wait.
