The trend strength looks good though. It will probably try to test above 2.00 in the next few days - since it fails today prob wise to take some money of the table.  Congrats to those long term investor and brave speculators that held on so far.

Not too bad la with profit of about 39  million.

Should improve with the opening of circle line this April and more shops space lease at the MRT station.

Unlikely to drop much.. Unless u predict another lehman crisis hit the world again this year.. I hope not.. paycut and retrenchment for alot of people..

Lehman criss Recession SMRT still trade above a $1.00, unless something bigger if not unlikely to drop alot... (base on the business model still the same monopoly, unless 2nd player come out in singapore) ROE is high on SMRT...

This is one stock to hold for long term due to our growing population and high standard of living. But, I tho its yield of ~4% base on current price is not worth the risk. Will consider a buy at ~$1.50 or when its yield is back to 5% at least. Hahaha!Will wait patiently lor.

The second phase of the Circle Line will open to passengers on April 17. The 11-station stretch, from Bartley to Dhoby Ghaut stations, will start operations almost a year after the first five stations were opened to the public last May.

Transport authorities now expect the Circle Line ridership to spike to about 200,000 daily

Will definately boost SMRT profit.

SMRT is a defensive stock that is worth holding for divident as well as for long term growth. Not surprise it will reach $3 like Singtel in years to come. Looking forward for the result tomorrow.

I have buy 100 lots at 1.87

My broker say SMRT result out this wed should be strong, better than last quater.
