Hi cyjjerry85, Frankly I don't think so..............The full impact will come when there are reports that factories are closing doors and people are shown the gates. Companies are seeing red....many bankrucpts and credit cards defaults ....Restaurants & Pubs empty ...etc...etc.. ! Sad days ahead indeed! Fortunately it is not D-Day and I always believe The Market will come back stronger! Cheers! |

Too bad, I have cut with a huge losses on major holding a few months ago. (though I admit myself too late to do so) Now planning of some recovering buying up programme.(I do not think, it help me saving a lot of previous capital losses). Still market turns uptrend is the best for any one's investment objective, I suppose.

With a deep pocket investor around we can all have a little ease of mind.
Are u still slowly buying in stocks in few hundred lots? No problem with all your losses so far?
Hulumas ( Date: 28-Oct-2008 11:28) Posted:
No doubt, although not a common believing, but it will be absolutely true! This time technical rebound I won't sell my holding on strength till getting my target of average 25% to 30% gain. I foresee market is bottomed out much sooner than what the market expected |

Hi Guys,
Saw our market drop to 1488 and this is what the story will be
According to Citigroup 1500 was the floor and we should find some support, thus our index fought hard to hold the 1500 mark and is now only down 90 points, many recovered from the low. With HK rebounding from 11,000 due to the CNA tech report, we should see similar situation in our STI as well.
The funds will use Fed rate cut, US elections as an excuse to push the market up. Next they might try to manu. the USD/JPY rate and the futures market.
Lastly reports will come out saying the market has bottomed and is likely to rebound 12-20% from our recent low.
Likely story ? Seems like a good story to me, let's see if this happens by next week. No hindsight for me as I like to look forward . |

Excessive fear creating unprecedented severely irrational under value market prices.
Excessive interest rate cut globally.
Excessive bail out fund injection.
Excessive stimulating economic expansion programme.
Excessive Government regulated intervention programme globally.
Tremendous global economic GDP growth at unprecedented rate will soon be on the card.
Etc........

DOW Future drop 450 points. I think today easily 800-900 points.
I think there will be a 15mins trading halt if fall 10%. If 20% DOW will stop trade for the rest of the day.....

What we can do now to rescue the market? Don't buy nor sell nor trade, it is time for us to do simultaneously on Tuesday onward throughout Singapore if possible and continuous for the whole month, (as if placing the market on an emergency halt). In my opinion, I am sure market will recover by itself!!!
richtan ( Date: 24-Oct-2008 17:10) Posted:
Obviously, it is abnormal, total insanity.
Markets are irrational, tends to overshoot in extremes, tats why there is irrational exuberance in bull mkt & now irrational capitulation in current bear raid.
Just hold tight, mkts will ultimately recover, life is about cycles.
There is bear now, so will there be bull later.

Has shorted again at Sgd. 0.635 and a few at Sgd. 0.64, so about two more hours to do recovering just at one go. I do not know, what will be the outcome. Just patiently wait.

Today I follow your suggestion, tomorrow please keep inform me. If long can't make money the other day, so today I try to short. My friend keep saying that playing share must be flexible, and I am never thinking that I should be right or wrong this time, just accept whatever closing price this afternoon, and the result either cut loss or profit or break even.
chinton86 ( Date: 12-Aug-2008 11:34) Posted:
Had been warning people on this stock liao. Ask people to keep selling. Hopefully u all did sell instead of trying to average down. If this stock can buy, i will rather buy synear liao. |
