Cannot find anything interesting so wish to put up discussion of what are the coming stocks that will be interesting to look into? So un-tap stock that has great potential?

Many stocks now like SingTel hardly make enough to cover commission

Hi, anyone can explain why in the case of a profitable company with no debt, the warrant trades at a discount to the stock price (after factoring in the exercise price)? Both are reasonably liquid (vol. above 1m). Thanks

Genting SP will = Lasvegas USA in perhaps half a decade!

Financial analysts come from different schools of thought.

If you read "Genting Sp - Brokers Report" by UOB Kay Hian,

Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley does not give a encouraging

reports. It is your money, you analyse the reports and make your own

decision. Financial analysts must write something for a living.

Genting Singapore rated buy
Written by The Edge
Thursday, 07 January 2010 15:02

OCBC Investment Research in a Jan 7 research report says: "Genting Singapore (GS) will partially open its integrated resort from 20 Jan 2010, with the operation of four of its six hotels; we think that the casino and USS should open soon once GS obtains the relevant approvals. Meanwhile, the Casino Regulation Authorities (CRA) of Singapore has laid out some pretty strict rules for junket operators.

"We note that the regime increases the level of oversight expected of the casino operators here, as the regulations leave the onus of maintaining the integrity of junkets to the casino operators. However, the strict regime is not unexpected. The latest developments may seem to be negative for Genting Singapore, but we believe that there should not be any lingering impact as Genting could easily develop its own VIP program, which could also help to improve margins.

"Based on more positive tourism arrival expectations, we have further revised up our estimates for FY10 and this in turn boosts our DCF-based fair value from $1.31 to $1.39. Although the upside from the current share price is under 10%, we believe that the positive sentiment of RWS’ impending opening is likely to see the stock substantially overshoot our fair value. MAINTAIN BUY."

I do not think you hold the stock even at price Sgd. 1.08 Ha. ha.. ha... Next TP I should say is Sgd. 1.58 within short period of time!

freshmind      ( Date: 05-Jan-2010 16:54) Posted:

When this counter stopped at 1.05/1.08, no retail traders want to buy but everyday with big transactions but at flat price.  Today, the same story happened with the price at 1.28/1.30 but the retail traders become interesting in the stocks??!  When most of the stocks been cleared by BBs that bought at 1.05/1.08, the price will go down rapidly.  So if you prepare for long term investment and ready to hold the share for some time, then you may try to buy, or else, let's the time to tell you truth!

When the price up above Sgd. 3.00, I am sure, it won't be low volume traded then! (Read my lips)

The low volume makes this once fav counter a bit tricky to trade....but my take to clear $1.20 soon...

Low volume is a good and precise indication that the market price for China Aviation Oil is extremely oversold depressed low level!!!
