there are two types of short sellers.. one type wins money and the other one type  loses money.... money changing hands only.....

Today, SGX buying in did not show Genting, so the 2nd type has to cover back position everytime they short.... so this morning many short at below 96 cts have to cover back fast if not they will miss the boat and lose money when it goes up to $1...

 Investment strategy

We rate Genting Singapore as Sell/High Risk. We believe that the market's

expectations are far too high for Resorts World Sentosa, part of Singapore's

Integrated Resort (along with Marina Bay Sands). According to consensus,

RWS and MBS in their first full year of operations will achieve combined gross

gaming revenue equivalent to 50% of Las Vegas at approx US$4bn. We

estimate the total market size in 2011 will be US$2.8bn - ~30% below

consensus. We expect RWS will take significantly longer than is currently

forecast to achieve the level of visitor arrivals needed to meet the market's

revenue and EBITDA projections for its gaming and theme park products.

Valuation

Our S$0.76 target price for Genting Singapore is derived by assigning equal

weights to the equity values derived from our sum-of-the-parts (S$0.64/share)

and DCF (S$0.87) valuation methodologies.

Under the SOTP valuation, we value the group’s Singapore casino and

Singapore Theme Park at 14x 2011E EV/EBITDA (discounted back to 2010),

which is in line with the average multiple for the core Macau gaming names.

We value the UK casinos at 10x 2010E EV/EBITDA, in line with the multiple we

assign to lower growth US gaming names.

Our DCF valuation is based on a WACC of ~7% and a long-term growth rate of

2%. The WACC is derived from a cost of equity of 7% and an after-tax cost of

debt of 4.2%. The cost of equity is based on an expected market return of 9%

(in line with the long-term return of the S&P500) – which includes a 1% riskfree

rate based on current borrowing costs – and a raw adjusted beta of ~0.8,

as reported by Bloomberg. Using our WACC assumption and growth rate we

apply a 22x multiple to our terminal value.

Meeting resistance at 0.985 (5 day MA). 

If can breach this level then might go up more.

x 0 		watch carefully..the buy and sell volumes are manipulated or closely watched by syndicates.. it disappeared very fast when anything trade done about 1 mill was executed..

the resistance 0.95  was broken...now should be testing 1.00....if break 1.00 today will be a beautiful marubuzu candle..hopefullly...then shall serve as confirmation as the reversal sign for last fri doji?

 

 

for those long: buy on support, sell on resistance...& this shall vise versa for those short...

but for nickyng, if it ever hit 1.05 & breaks it...should u be longing instead shorting?...just my humble opinion for sharing, hope you dun mind
