I am and remain +ve on  as much of, on Dr Ng effort to secure investors confident, just like those new and exsiting vested stake holders does...

I am also confident that he, " can also  personally supervise and train up a new Dr Ng to takeover operation eventually,  with many years  in farm training background under him.

The operation and processing will come in very handy, once proper due processing operation is in place.

MISCELLANEOUS :: ADDENDUM TO THE ANNOUNCEMENT ON 16 MARCH 2012

The Board of Directors (the “Board”) of Oceanus Group Limited (the “Company”) refers to the listing of Taiwan Depository Receipts in December 2009 (the “TDR Issue”).

Due to changes in the working capital needs of the Company in respect of the expansion of its abalone breeding capacity, the Board has carefully evaluated all the circumstances and deemed it to be in the interest of the Company and the shareholders to re-allocate the use of the balance proceeds of the TDR Issue, as follows...

Instead of expansion of abalone farms (a typographical error), it has plan for  expansion of processing operations.

teeth53 thot: Which in my personnally opinion is rather better, as their farms has excess capacity.

This time round Dr Ng is personnally in charge of this  PRC subsidiary. He may, can also  personally supervise and train up a new  Dr Ng to takeover operation eventually,  with many  years training back ground under him.

    Happi trading...:)

AFP -- Thursday, Nov 17, 2011 (old news, but infomative to know

TOKYO - Most of the radioactive fallout from the Fukushima disaster nuclear plant dropped into the ocean and began circling the planet, Japanese researchers said.

Up to 80% of the caesium released by the Fukushima Daiichi power plant landed in the Pacific and made its way into other oceans around the world, scientists at the Meteorological Research Institute said.

" The rest has fallen on land" in and around Fukushima, said Hiroshi Takahashi, a researcher at the institute in Ibaraki, northeast of Tokyo.

Mayor Yoshio Kusama of Takahagi, Ibaraki Prefecture, visited TEPCO's  HQ in Tokyo.

Takahagi is about 80 kilometers from the plant. Kusama asked  TEPCO's to pay 9.84 million yen (S$165,746) for decontamination work conducted from June to Oct and  for d  purchase of radiation dosimeters.

It's the city's 2nd such demand to TEPCO -- in June, it became one of the first municipalities to seek compensation from the utility, demanding 2.05 million yen.

" I'll keep making demands until work to deal with the nuclear crisis ends. I mean until there are no more costs [for the work]," Kusama told TEPCO Managing Director Naomi Hirose, who is deputy head of a task force to support people affected by the nuclear crisis.

" I'm telling you this while repressing [my anger] to one-tenth, one-hundredth of its true level," Kusama said.

    Reuters -- Sunday, Mar 18, 2012

TOKYO - A vast majority of Japanese favour the gradual phasing out of nuclear plants but accept that some reactors need to be restarted to secure enough power in the short term.

Shimbun newspaper published  and conducted on 1st anniversary of the tsunami-triggered nuclear crisis, comes ahead of decision expected soon by the govt on whether to allow the restart of two idled nuclear reactors.

Poll by Japan Association for Public Opinion Research, 79.6% of those asked were at least more or less in favour of breaking with nuclear power eventually.

BEIJING - A group of 22 Chinese authors have filed a claim against US technology group Apple, alleging its App Store sells unlicenced copies of their books.

The group, the Writers Rights Alliance, petitioned Apple last year to stop electronic distribution of the writers' books and had earlier persuaded Baidu, China's largest search engine, to stop publishing their material on its Baidu Library product.

The writers are seeking 50 million yuan ($8 million) compensation from Apple, saying it was selling pirated versions of 95 books via its online store. Xinhua Chinese state media reported on Sunday.

The Writers Rights Alliance could not be reached for comment, and a growing number of Chinese copyright holders are now also pressing for better protection.

The lawsuit adds to Apple's list of problems in China, has been embroiled in a long-running lawsuit with Chinese firm Proview Technology, which is fighting for control of the iPad trademark in China.

The unit of near-bankrupt Proview International Holdings has asked Chinese distributors to stop selling the iPad after Apple launched the latest version.

Apple is also battling allegations of poor working conditions among its army of low-cost suppliers in China.

Three workers at Foxconn Technology died in a blast last year when dust from polishing iPads ignited, and labour rights groups have said 18 workers at Foxconn sites killed themselves, or tried to, in 2010.
