Price trading lower?, player will think is cheap, more coming for a  punt. Punters lov to punt  with more volume increases - very likely.

Happi  Trading.

http://finance.fortune.cnn.com/2012/05/24/morgan-stanley-facebook-ipo-drop/?iid=obnetwork

Facebook's bungled IPO turned out to be a very good trade  to investment bankers.

FORTUNE -- Here's example of how Wall Street big banks -  heads they win, tails they win.

Even as Facebook's shares dropped, causing losses for regular investors, Morgan and other underwriters of  Facebook IPO likely racked up big profits trading the social media shares. Morgan Stanley and the other banks who were selling Facebook shares to the public were positioned to make more money, the lower Facebook's shares went.

" We think Morgan has done pretty well on the deal," says a person at a bank that was one of Facebook's other underwriters.

How much did Morgan make?, it's impossible to know. Facebook's shares hit $31 on Tuesday. I

If Morgan and other underwriters bought back every share they had sold at that price, Wall Street banks would have pocketed nearly $450 million, that's on top of the roughly $170 million they split in underwriting fees on the deal. Much of those fees went to Morgan as well.

AlphaVN.com is an investing blog focusing on Vietnam and other markets in Southeast Asia. It is written by Peter Pham, a capital market specialist and entrepreneur with expertise in institutional sales and trading.

It's no secret for anyone who follows markets closely that Southeast Asia, and in particular China, will be the engine of growth for the 21st century.

Recently, a statistic that confirmed my (his)  personal observations from living in Ho Chi Minh City and traveling around S.E.Asia. According to the Financial Times' fDiIntelligence division, Singapore (EWS) not only receives more financial foreign investment than any other major financial center in the world, it receives more than New York, London, Frankfurt and Switzerland....combined.

As S'pore is actively courting new capital in response to the abuse being dished out to investors in the West.

For example, Singapore's central bank, The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), is moving to take advantage of the massive flows of gold and silver. It plans to treat them as currencies -- and not commodities -- by removing the 7% goods and services tax that was collected on all precious metals transactions.

After Oct 1, bullion quality gold and silver will be freely exchanged without taxation on Singapore's exchanges which will only further increase the demand for them.

just info sharing - Happi trading.

Mkts hate uncertainties...

Between the Fri's strong run up of dow, dax, ftse, vs the not so good news that pop up over this wkend,

1) israel & iran threatening each other, dragging US (& possibly UK & France) into the conflict

2) greece stalled debt negotiations

looks like on monday it's better to take some profits off the long positions, just in case. TA is not totally accurate.

Nominated: Allison Macfarlane, an expert in nuclear waste, as the nation's top nuclear safety cop, seeking to turn the page on a period of bitter acrimony at the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission.

Macfarlane, a geologist, will face the challenge of making the five-member commission work more collegially as it implements the biggest changes the nuclear power industry has faced in years, reforms sparked by the damage done to Japan's Fukushima complex by an earthquake and tsunami last year.
