Chartered Semi Reaffirms 3Q Outlook

Chartered Semiconductor Reaffirms 3rd-Quarter Guidance
MILPITAS, Calif. (AP) -- Chip foundry Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing Ltd. on Wednesday reaffirmed its third-quarter forecast, saying the quarter was progressing as anticipated.
Chartered Semiconductor expects results to fall between a loss of $5 million, or 3 cents per American depositary share, to a profit of $5 million, or 1 cent per American depositary share, for the quarter.
The company projects revenue of $332 million to $344 million.
Analysts polled by Thomson Financial estimate break-even per-share results on sales of $340.1 million.
Chartered Semiconductor, which is listed in both Singapore and on the Nasdaq, said it plans to release third-quarter results on Oct. 26 before the Singapore market opens.

Gene, give you more informations for your decision making, look at the 52 weeks high and low and compare it against the last sale price. everyone know chartered is losing money,even though it is losing money, the counter should hover withing the range of 1.12 to 1.26.
