just take for eg, Singapore under LKY wanted to do 3x faster GDP  then norm as compare to other nations.

Can Myanmar's do like Singapore?, with so many diversive states leaders around to bargain for bigger stake within their states in a diversive nation.

Or opening to the West for more western money $$$?, if one is not ready, the nation cannot move too fast.

People's will hav a shock culture between the angmo and local, some may not be happy at all.

The  Myanmar  national leaders  hav yet to sell the idea successfully. I don see that coming so soon.

Democracy is in it initial stage, revolving, while U.S. is after the Myanmar oil well.

Myanmar's democracy champion Aung San Suu Kyi, nearing the end of her triumphant Europe tour in France, accepted another award Wednesday as she became an honorary citizen of Paris.

On 2 July 2012. The 422,117,873 Rights Shares will be listed for quotation on the Main Board of the SGX-ST  and trading of the Rights Shares will commence with effect from 9.00 a.m. on the same date.

As a result of the issue of the Rights Shares, the number of issued and paid up Shares of the Co has increased from 527,647,342 Shares to 949,765,215 Shares.

2. TRADING OF ODD LOTS

For the purposes of trading on the Main Board of the SGX-ST, each board lot of Shares will comprise
1,000 Shares. Following the Rights Issue, Shareholders who hold odd lots of the Rights Shares (i.e. less
than 1,000 Shares) and who wish to trade in odd lots on the SGX-ST should note that they will be able to
trade odd lots of Shares in board lots of one (1) Share on the Unit Share Market of the SGX-ST.

The Company has applied for and obtained the approval of the SGX-ST for the establishment of a
temporary counter to facilitate the trading of Shares in board lots of 100 Shares for a period of one (1)
month commencing on the first Market Day on which the Rights Shares are listed for quotation on the
Main Board of the SGX-ST.

The temporary counter is provisional only. Shareholders who continue to hold odd lots of less than 1,000
Shares after one (1) month from the listing of the Rights Shares may face difficulty and/or have to bear

Thursday - Tokyo Electric Power Co. is to abandon plans to export its nuclear power plant expertise as it struggles to cope with the Fukushima disaster. The turnaround, a blow to Japan's once-proud policy of promoting its nuclear technology, the Mainichi Shimbun daily said.

Tokyo Electric, known as TEPCO, will withdraw from a scheme to supply and run two nuclear reactors at a plant in Vietnam. The project is being undertaken by International Nuclear Energy Development, a Tokyo-based company set up in 2010 and power companies including TEPCO, to promote nuclear power exports.

" Atomic power engineers still need to do a lot more to stabilise and decommission the reactors" at the crippled Fukushima Daiichi plant, said  TEPCO president Naomi Hirose. " It is impossible" to abandon the domestic task and promote exports, he was quoted as saying.

Record radiation levels detected at Fukushima reactor

Meanwhile Wednesday - TEPCO, operator for Japan's crippled Fukushima nuclear plant, said record amounts of radiation had been detected in the basement of reactor number 1. TEPCO took samples from the basement after lowering a camera and surveying instruments through a drain hole in the basement ceiling.

Radiation levels above radioactive water in the basement reached up to 10,300 millisievert an hour, a dose that will kill humans within a short time after making them sick within minutes.
