    CNBC's Michelle Caruso Cabrera reports, banks reopening in Cyprus and the limits they've imposed on depositors. The situation, she says, is calmer than expected.

    EU approves new bailout deal for Cyprus

    The development staved off a disorderly collapse of Cyprus' banks and appears to have calmed fears that this tiny island nation's meltdown could inflame problems elsewhere in Europe.



    Popular Bank will be broken up immediately. Its viable assets will be integrated into the Bank of Cyprus, and its non-performing loans will be moved into a " bad bank" to be wound down.

    The " haircut" for Popular Bank depositors will raise about €4.2 billion, while shareholders and bondholders are likely to be wiped out.

    (DOW is  testing to cross  14,512 again??) think so....

    Got a feeling that  restrictions imposed  on trading speculative stocks by UOB KH is to clear the way for big boys to battle it out in Rowsley.  Remember PL had brought huge, huge businesses to UOB KH where he started his rocketing career  there.

    There are players who win $100k too, of course from players who lost $100k...it players played against players, and against shortists, and via versa...Happi speculating against each other.

    It was shot, short down, with help from UOB....0.20c down down to 0.06c within 3-5 dyas only, it very dangerous play after placing out shr @0.06c, Don think is tricky, it is dangerous counter.

    right timing -LOL, wrong timing cry n cry, maybe a place is oso reserve @Bedok Res... for losser...:( :(, very :(

    Cyprus is 3rd smallest economy in the  EU zone, in which the financial crisis is resolved sets an important example for the rest of the currency bloc,  it accounts for just 0.2% of the euro zone's economic output. " Cyprus is not systemically important but it can set an example"

    Greece's -- The indicator rose by 2.5% yr-on-yr, its 1st positive reading after 4 years. Economists attributed the rise to Greece's export industry, which has benefited from falling labor costs as the country has implemented policies laid out under its bailout deal.

    S& P 500 gained 0.3%, nearly topping its all-time closing high of 1,565.15.  deal has been reached, investors are breathing a cautious sigh of relief.  Dow Jones industrial average hit a new intraday high of 14,547 shortly after the open, but was trading little changed by mid-morning. European markets rallied nearly 1% in afternoon trading, while Asian markets ended mixed.

    Interest by BBs vested stakes holders,  above 7.2c ++, will keep Oceanus n it abalones growing and becoming more valuable...(think so)

    Oceanus 5-6c is a passing phase,  able to make the price more valuable, that after going through disastrous mgt fiasco.

    Once, depend on your own TP...Should be climbling  forward 6c++ to 8 c...based on expecting  better result YoY, coming this Qs
