Q4_Media_Release.pdf (Plastoform) Pretax profit of HK$2.9m n mkt cap of S$67.3m Profit would have been higher if not for provisions n foreign exchange. ON the back of 43.5% rise in revenue to HK$469.3m for d full year ended.

Technically qualifies, to apply for removal from watchlist. Outlook is positive

As I know of...Soilbuild, limited to 166 million placement shr is not enuff for their distribution to even their own securities houses UOB and OCBC, their BBs and small boys, their institutional funded, their trade associates and others who contributed to this succesful launching and there - only 2 mil shr is allocated for public for subscribe.

Just an after thot. For this launching, 2mil shr for public, would be players if want to apply, try apply for bigger lot make sense, in the hope, if got it, hope few more lot is allocated.

Good luck n wish players huat huat...

Soil-Build is graded A1 by BCA. This allows us to tender for public sector projects in Singapore of unlimited contract value. Our track record in public sector projects also puts us in good stead as we compete in future tenders by HDB and other public agencies.

Latest Practicable Date, our order books based on letters of intent,
secured contracts and variation orders amounted to approximately S$511.2 million.

In connection with the proposed expansion of our construction business into Myanmar, as at the Latest Practicable Date, we have secured two contracts there to provide professional consultancy and project management services and project management consultancy services for four developments in Myanmar.

We intend to further strengthen our presence there.

Hi jomini,

A personal ?. Forward looking IPO-ing for me, then to look for more technical fine details and their net asset or whatever the reason may be.

Financial ratios (Look for px to PE ratio, px to NTA value, dividend policy, gross, net profit margins & returns on equity). Secondary ? to me.

Market Sentiment...and, Earnings track record - Potential Myanmar play.

Posted since 4th May, mth of May. Outlook for IPO market - Bullish...

Note - Above is only my personnal opinion. One forum posted openly, even asked me, (I vested abit in placement shr) whether am I stagging on Soilbuild.

Answer to it is, STAG, may hold longer, pending on players support (T+3 to T+5), again I would like to bring up to mentioned...

Do please do your own home work B4 deciding to risk venturing into IPO-ing or in punting / trading on stks.

they didnt make losses and they didnt pay out dividends. no outsized depreciation either

but net asset value halved from last year

any idea why?

Refreshing mth for May. Outlook for IPO market - Bullish.

IPO fever, do your financial homework 1st to avoid getting burnt.

Prospectus (managing risk & don get caught investing blindly, an understanding the value of investing).

Financial ratios (Look for px to PE ratio, px to NTA value, dividend policy, gross, net profit margins & returns on equity).

Usage of IPO proceeds (proceeds for working capital and expansion or be use to clear debt).

Market Sentiment: (Bullish or none-bullish enviroment on it IPO's listing).

Earnings track record (watch for past earning over last 2-3 years, no sudden record performance in sales and profits).

Pricing (a key indicator on share price performance. PER-lower ratio the better it share value the share price offers).

Strategy: Buy and hold, buy and sell or buy and stag ? (stagging-selling IPO shares on the 1st trading day).

To retail players. there's a different, hope this can help - " sell into strength and buy on weakness." Just a general guide line.

Saying it, is easy, it totally need trade experience n discipline. It that, our sub-inner concious mind and finger don listen.

The U.S., the euro zone, other states like russia and india, where they are even better, they did one better then China.....So is Japan, knowingly their food chain is contaminated.

Such news, is not new, is good to know and aware, even we don hav much choice, but to live with and we can be more or less, less surprises to us.

What to expect when everythings is throw into air, their river and soil, plus now even contaminated samples were found to have 0.21 milligram to 0.4 milligram of cadmium in each kilogram of rice. Chinese govt allows a maximum 0.2 mg of cadmium in each kilogram of rice, " First water, then the air we breathe, and now the earth. How can people still survive?" wrote one user on Sina Weibo.

Food safety is a particular concern, as some of the contaminants from years of industrial development make their way into the country's food chain from soil in which it's grown.

In 2011 research at Nanjing Agricultural University, roughly 10% of all rice sold in China is tainted by cadmium, the result of use of industrial wastewater for irrigation, dumping of industrial waste.

In 2006, state Ministry for Environmental Protection launched a nationwide soil-pollution survey, was to have been concluded in 2010. Earlier this year the ministry rejected requests by a Beijing lawyer to see the results, citing " state secrets."

Cadmium is frequently found in leafy vegetables such as spinach and choi sum grown in polluted conditions. For cadmium to be evident in rice grains, the soil in which it was grown must have been especially highly polluted, said Jonathan Wong, a Hong Kong biology professor who studied mainland soil pollution extensively.

Experts say removing cadmium from soil is a costly process that likely require seeding certain plants for long periods to help remove toxicity. The metal doesn't degrade on its own, and can linger in the human body for decades.

Late in 1960s. Japan has outbreak of itai-itai disease, or " ouch, ouch" disease, was traced back to cadmium after it poisoned people and softened their bones. while Japan as always mentioned it safe to eat n drink even knowing willingly their food chain is contaminated.

LOL, could be different stockists from KE trading the stock. Or could be a real BBs churning. Buy high, sell low buthow do you know the average price? Maybe they buy up 3m high but sell down 10m lower but still make because their avg price is low and they churn the volume to suck in buyers?
