I think that is very unfair !

How can the Co have the pte placement at such price of 0.25 especially the placement announcement is after the announcement of the proposed listing of it's subsidiary?

The Board wishes to highlight that the Proposed Listing is in its preparatory stages. There is no assurance that the relevant approvals and/or consents from, inter alia, the SEHK, to be obtained in respect of and in connection with the Proposed Listing will be granted, or that the Proposed Listing will proceed in due course. The Company will announce any material updates when appropriate and a circular containing, inter alia, the notice of EGM will be dispatched to shareholders in due course.

Tritech Group proposed placement of 75m new shares to 9 individuals and 1 institution at an issue price of $0.25 per share, 6% discount to last close of $0.265. Placement shares represent 24.5% of existing share capital. Net proceeds of $18.2m will be used to fund potential acquisitions in connection to its water-related business and working capital. Some familiar names among the placees with the recent placement done by Mirach and CNA Group.
