only the BBs make money. us small retails are here to be played by them. yet stock market is better den out 4 ds n toto. at least we can kinda improve our chance a little. (if any)

Say if today John made 100K.
He is in the market playing stocks for many years now.
And if he did keep a record of all the money he lost in the stock market and he adds it up altogether say result = X
100K - X = (a negative). Overall he is a looser in the market. he is very happy because today he made 100K.
Though he made 100K, looks like making money. But generally he would be in that 97% of people whom loose money.
As the total he paid out and took in is a negative . See ? Many of us fall under that 97% category. Belief it or not.
Thats what I meant. of cost that is very generally speaking with no complicating details to further justify that the statement is indeed true though unbelievable.

Many will make money and experience it.......and over time, this same people whom make money....lost it also in the stock market.
That 3% are not the same people. It changes all the time. But very little percentage inside that 3% are constant winners.
Loose mean summation of all profit and looses = net negative.
Make money meant summation of profits and looses = positive.

Isolator used to chant " 2400 and coming..." , maybe one day in the future (near or far) he might be correct. But meantime I think many bbs are still bullish except some professionals like Iso are thinking of crashing the market, so bear and bull will fight it out, and either of them will use their weapons fiercely.

Fair valuation of biological assets is just that. Either higher or lower, it's not actual profit or loss.
But contra gains or loss most times not determined by how the company did. Just when people want to take position or take profit. For sure, if results not good, shorters will come out and sell. but if results good, may not mean price will run up either. Good luck.
