What CIMB Think...........

The substantial contract win will provide assurance to investors that NPRT is gaining order momentum,in tandem with the recovery of China’srailway industry. NPRT has registered losses since FY12 but we are confident that it will turnaround in 2H13 and start making a positive contribution to Midas’searnings.While we are excited by NPRT’s second metro contract winin a week, we are still waiting for the resumption of high-speed rail contracts that will have a greater impact on Midas’s earnings.

Friday - Japan's benchmark Nikkei average (.N225) rose 2.02% to 13,862.97 points.

4th Qtr end 31/12/12 : Profit US$ 5.2m vs  LOSS of US$ 1.8m for the same period last yr.


12 mths  end 31/12/12 : Profit US$ 10.8m vs US$ 5.3m for the same period last yr.

Financial year changed to end at 31 Mar, hence tmr will announce 15 mths results (Jan 2012 to Mar 2013). Results expected to be very much better than same period last yr!!

SPH shareholders will get to enjoy the best of both worlds: The Special Dividend of 18cents will reward shareholders for their investment in the SPH Group and through SPH's stake in SPH REIT, they will continue to benefit from the establishment of SPH REIT.
