What is most importance to the stake holders is : service level & the bottom lines must be improved with so much increased in staff cost!

Net profit dropped $20.1m to $16.3m  due mainly to the increase in staff cost of $21.4m (up 23.4% from $91.3m to $112.7m)
How can the staff cost increase so much ?

When  put the matching theory into practice, one must kin kar kin chiew and it   should be completed at least 2 mins before opening (9am)/closing (5.05). lol
Stockcham ( Date: 30-Jul-2013 20:18) Posted:
Many retailers in this counter. So got to shake them off first before it can moves up again.  Today managed to close above support of 215. Still not so bad. But don't think it can last long since many retailers still have this counter. If it is going to break new high again soon, today 25 or 23 would have  hold. If there is a rebound this 1-2 day, it should at least cross 23 at the end of the day, if not, I think it will break 21-215 and test 20 in the days to come. If it happen to break 20 and go down to 19+, I think this is a great opportunity to buy. Some support at around 19.6 and good support at 19.
I entered cogent yesterday again at 26 with smaller lots. Managed to run at 24 today. Before the market start, I roughly know today will go down  for cogent but I'm just too stubborn not to believe what I see. Remember I said in my much earlier post about matching?. If anyone read that before you will know what I mean. Just to refresh. I said  during matching time, the big lots cannot withdraw or drop pip before market starts. Initially Cogent have more than 200 lots (I think is 270 lots) to match at  27 but later withdrawn minutes before market start. Did anyone  notice that?. I saw that and was thinking whether to sell. In the end, I decided to fight with it. That's why I said in trading, must discipline. I saw it coming but still ti ki. Anyway, another lesson learnt.
I not only have Greatwall of China Queue Theory but also Matching Theory! Haha!
Good luck all! Huat ah!

Vard Holdings Since April 2012, shares of Vard Holdings have been on a downtrend and now reside in the oversold region. In terms of financial performance, while its business operation in Brazil is incurring losses, other geographical segments which the company is present in do not face the same situation as they remain profitable. I believe the price at which the share is trading now is reasonable considering that it is at record low levels. The support and resistance for this stock are at $0.79 and $1.205 respectively.

Urh.... just want to highlight the followings:
Group YTD 9mths Net Profit attributable to shareholders was $358m as compared to $292m previous year an increase of 22%
This was mainly due to fair value gain on investment properties@ $111,407m.
Due to the successful listing of SPH reit and a price gain of ~10% so far,  believe there will be more of this fair value gain to be realized as it still hold ~70% of the reit.
Let's see.....
WanSiTong ( Date: 29-Jul-2013 09:05) Posted:
Full year results will be  out on 12/10. Last year paid final dividend of 17 cents. This year should not be less that that as profit after tax for the 9 months ended 31/5/13 is $189.8m vs $ 106.6m (same period last yr) !

Prices have broken out of a base formation at 87 cents on volume expansion, and they have also moved above the declining 200-day moving average at 92.5 cents, both an indication of strength.
The break above the top of the base indicates a target of $1.
Both the 50-day moving average and quarterly momentum have turned up.
Momentum also appears poised to move above its equilibrium line.
Support is at 92 cents.
Punters should note that the upmove was probably triggered by the counter s dual listing in RMB.
Also, the price gains are helpful should the company wish to do a share placement.

SGX’s 4QFY13 core net profit rose 68% y-o-y (+5% q-o-q) to SGD103m, backed by average daily turnover (ADT) in the securities market of SGD1.6bn (+42% y-o-y -7% q-o-q), and a record quarter for derivatives.
