I agree lah. But hor, many companies still pay "talents" like Ris Low high high to do stupid no brain work. How u explain tis phenomenon? It seems that employers like to surround themselves with lots of air-heads so they can look good amongst their staff, no ? If all your staff are talented, employers will look bad and scared they jobs will be replaced by the more competent, no ? What a strange world....Maybe little education is goood education afterall.....

重庆市今年(2010)推出万亿投资计划，实施323个市级重点项目

成渝高速复线、西部国际会展中心、长安试车场……市发改委昨日发布消息，今年我市将推出１万亿元投资计划，实施323个重点项目，力争完成年度投资2000亿元。在南岸区，今年拟开工建设新地标——全球最高的摩天双子塔。

据介绍，这323个项目分为政府主导和市场主导两大类，其中，政府主导类176个，总投资为6500亿元；市场主导类147个，总投资为3500亿元。涉及交通、能源、城市基础设施、园区基础设施、节能减排及生态建设、水利基础设施、社会民生、科技、工业、农业产业化、商贸流通、房地产等13大类。

此外，今年的重点项目突出民生，“五个重庆”项目增多。据悉，“五个重庆”建设预计总投入为2500亿元，其中，纳入重点建设管理的共180个项目，年度预期投资超过1200亿元，占重点建设项目年度投资的65%。

“盘子”分配包括：宜居重庆项目60个，年度投资360亿元，将开工建设主城区公租房500万平方米、拆迁改造主城区危旧房156万平方米、主干道环境综合改造等；畅通重庆项目中，对外通道和市域交通工程100项，年度投资700亿元；森林重庆，完成500万亩森林工程建设，年度投资120亿元；平安重庆和健康重庆，项目17个，年度投资为20亿元。

为实现可持续发展，我市正大力推进事关“十二五”发展、“两江新区”建设等重大前期项目。

今年将着手推进安张铁路、黔张常铁路、主城至万州沿江高速公路、小南海水电站、万盛煤化100万吨二甲醚等大项目。此外，围绕“西三角”、成渝经济区、统筹城乡综合配套改革等战略规划，我市还将策划重大项目，形成“十二五”重大项目库，重大项目储备投资规模达到2万亿元。

【项目解读】

全球最高双子塔将超620米

来自市发改委的消息称，除了继续推进在建项目建设，今年我市计划开工的项目将力争达到60个。包括解放碑地下停车场改造、社会公共安全视频信息管理系统等。

全球最高摩天双子塔落户南岸

根据我市拟定的重点项目初步名单，今年我市重点实施的房地产项目共有14个，例如江北嘴金融城（一期）、解放碑威斯汀酒店等。其中，龙湖·后工项目和全球最高摩天双子塔项目，属新开工项目。据了解，全球最高摩天双子塔由香港协和集团投资，地上建筑面积为140万平方米，该项目今年的目标是获准并全面开工建设。记者昨天经多方打探获悉，该项目位于南岸区，至于该项目的具体高度和投资额度，南岸区官员称暂不便对外披露。资料显示，目前世界上最高的双塔摩天楼是厦门双子塔，该楼高度为620米，该项目目前仍处于在建状态。这意味着，重庆将建的摩天双子塔，高度可能超过620米。

成渝高速复线重庆段年内开工

今年，我市计划新开工达州-万州-利川联线高速公路、成渝高速复线重庆段、渝黔新线（重庆段）、渝利铁路（重庆段）、渝万城际铁路、遂渝二线（重庆段）等。成渝高速复线四川段已经动工，重庆段也将于近期开工建设，总投资200多亿元、总长252公里，预计2012年全线通车，并将成为成渝两地最短的陆路主通道。

年内改建解放碑地下停车场

为了缓解解放碑停车难问题，今年我市还将启动解放碑地下停车场改造一期工程，据介绍，该工程全长2.1公里。在城市基础设施方面，今年将新开工建设轨道二、三号线延伸段工程、轨道交通六号线延伸段、重庆西部国际会展中心等。

据昨日中国之声《新闻和报纸摘要》报道，重庆今年将推出的1万亿元投资计划。此消息不仅将推动重庆经济长期发展，也将促进重庆上市公司在A股市场上的表现。

华龙证券分析师牛阳认为，从计划涉及的交通、能源、房地产等13大类来看，对A股目前上市的29家公司都将直接或间接产生影响，其中对重庆路桥、重庆港九、渝开发、重庆水务和三峡水利等基础设施上市公司影响较大。因近期重庆板块股票在A股市场走势较强，该消息还将影响中国嘉陵、四维控股、建峰化工、长安汽车、重庆啤酒、太极集团、西南药业等股票走势。因此，年初谈及的“两江新区”概念、成渝经济区概念将在这样的市场背景下不断拉高重庆股票的整体价位。 记者 李晶

The premium for cars up to 1,600cc closed at $34,001, up 19.8 per cent from the last exercise two weeks ago.

The Open category, which can be used for any vehicle type but is typically used for cars, climbed 16.7 per cent to reach a 10-year high of $49,000.

In the commercial-vehicle category, prices trekked north to close 11 per cent higher at $36,511 – the highest in 16 years.

Though the prices left buyers and traders shaking their heads, they surprised no one, coming on the back as they did of a sharp cut in the COE supply.

Anticipation of the sharply reduced supply sent COEs soaring in the previous tender two weeks ago. With the latest rates, some COEs are double what they were in February.

“Prices will definitely head north and there is no return,” he said, adding that the COE supply is likely to shrink further as motorists hang on to their cars because of the price spike, leading to even fewer deregistrations ahead.

The price spike has also caused unhappiness among drivers who booked cars – some as far back as in January – but had not got them because agents had failed to secure COEs earlier in the year.

One of them was businessman Dominic Tan, 52, who booked a Hyundai Avante in February for about $52,000.

But even after topping up twice to an eventual price of close to $62,000, he did not get his car.

“I was so fed up I cancelled the order,” he said, adding that he then booked an off-peak Kia Cerato for just over $44,000.

Yesterday, Kia agent Cycle & Carriage secured a COE for him. “I’m very happy about it,” said Mr Tan.have reported a plunge in new orders since COEs rocketed two weeks ago, with some saying that sales had dropped by 90 per cent.  However, used-car sales seem to have picked up speed.

ID verification process in place : M1

WE REFER to Mr Tan Kah Poh’s letter “Imposter got away” (April 6). We require anyone who suspects his identity card has been fraudulently used to sign up for mobile lines with M1 to make a police report to safeguard his own interests and to enable us to initiate an internal investigation.

In the January case involving Mr Tan, we were able to verify his claim based on his police report and our own investigations. As a result, Mr Tan was absolved of all liabilities related to the mobile line subscriptions and the case was closed.

We confirm that another attempt at using Mr Tan’s IC to sign up for mobile lines was detected by our sales staff last month.

Our staff managed to retain the IC and Mr Tan was immediately informed. This case is now under police investigation.

We have an identity verification process in place at our retail outlets, which includes visual checking of identification documents and verification with other information sources. This has been effective, but we will continue to make improvements where possible.

We thank Mr Tan for his feedback and assure him we will work closely with the police whenever required to assist in their investigations.
