lol...Mani, yes u are right, a double edge sword. That's where your TA and trading skill comes in. This is on one condition that BJ moves up and down. But current situation BJ is "clinically" dead, no way one can make $$, be it Casino Strategy or patiently waiting....

Here is the "Casino Strategy": Objective is to make $1,000 from BJ trading at 17 cents. Assuming no brokerage and duty fee.

CASE 1: $17,000 can buy 100K shares of BJ: 100K x $0.17 = $17,000

We just need 1 cent jump from BJ: 100K x $0.18 = $18,000 (Profit=$1,000)

CASE 2: $1,700 can buy 10K shares of BJ: 10K x  $0.17 = $1,700

We need 10 cents jump from BJ: 10K x $0.27 = $2,700 (profit=$1,000)

Now the numbers are obvious here that it is still possible for BJ to go to 18 cents as compared to BJ getting to 27 cents.

ideas 168...yes fully agree..correct strategy..but many pple can't bear to bite the bullet and hold on to their losses for years instead of exit/cut loss strategy. within certain price..even if BJ went up..so many sellers waiting to sell all the way to 30cts..look at Lottis..got related lottery biz (though not completely the same) hover around 35 to 40cts and was chased up to.70cts b4..previously the reported that the 2 new subscribers who got at 7.5cts also disposing to invest in other listed cos......retail investors are the suckers...if the two sell off all their stocks at current price still make hefty profits but believe they're slowly letting go

Mani, you agree with me, but someone dun seem to, gave me a bad post...lol!

TA is good for making decision, but not always, and may not be suitable for penny counters with low volume and not much of movement like BJ. What does the indicator tell us when BJ trading a range of 17 cents and 18 cents for the last 2 weeks.

As for FA, I think BJ dun have any. All are betting on future $$ that BJ will bring in (lottery). What if it doesn't come true? If vesting now and the wait bears fruit, it will be justified. However, if the wait with a disappointing result, ending have to pay for the wait (share plunge with bad news). I think it will be devastating to many who vested.

One example is that if one wish to buy a Kopitiam to do business. A kopitiam located at Pulau Ubin cost $5,000 investment and another located at Orchard road with heavy human traffic but cost $50,000. Investment in Ubin betting that the government will develope the island into housing estates, hence churn out more human traffic then. But Orchard Road is already buzzling with crowds. Which investment will bear fruits given the same period of time, say 3 years. I am sure someone with sound mind will choose the latter.

I am just stating my view here. The choice is yours.

I agree with you...
Using a "casino strategy" in the stock market is good. Simply because from the point of view of a punter or even gambler, the stock market is really an ideal casino.

Your post below demonstrates this...
when you bet more, you stand to make more, when you bet less, you will make less if you are lucky (assuming one uses TA to time entry points, one also has to be lucky to have analysed correctly!).Smiley

To make $1,000 with $100,000 is very easy in Casino. But to make $100,000 with just $1,000 ...mmm...I think it's impossible.

To play penny stock like Banjoo, one need to use hit and run tactic. I had lost $450 in BJ when I invested $4,000. Later I decided to adopt hit and run, putting in as much $36,000, I profit $1,700 from BJ. What I needed from BJ is just 2 cents jump, I made, I run. If I can go this way for a few rounds on BJ, it will be nice. The logic is simple, the casino strategy.

But BJ is "clinically" dead now. No up no down...how to make $$. Worst is that BJ is dropping bit by bit everyday. I dun think anyone can make from this counter. So I suggest to all avoid this counter until BJ get the lottery license....if there is this day.

Good luck to all vested here. If the stock is not moving, shouting everyday CHEONG is useless. Better use the energy in some other moving counters....
