IPCO has various Investment securities trading companies and Investment holding companies (below show a partial list, not a complete listing) and other oversea companies.
E.g.
Investment securities trading
1) Friendship Bridge Holding Company Private Limited (Singapore)
2) Nueviz Investment Private Limited (Singapore)
3) Sun Spirit Group Ltd (British Virgin Islands)
Eg.
Investment holding
4) Asia Plan Limited (British Virgin Islands)
5) Excellent Empire Limited (British Virgin Islands)
No ! Recently they transfer 135m Blumont to their holding company, Sun Spirit Group Ltd (British Virgin Islands)

think the debt ceiling thing is around May 18th.. dunno how many days earlier will ppl start to feel fearful of it.. So hopefully iso predicts correctly, or at least there is some rise, then i may be looking for exit in May before probably returning to ipco if it continues to show potential

Yeah. Its good to read the financial statements. I believe the three businesses they are in will perform better next quarter. Especially their real estate business in Seattle. (Which sold 0 units last quarter). Any sales this quarter will be good. Also, oil and gas industry will bring in alot of moneys for the company. They have a 30 exclusive contact in the areas they are in and looking to expand.

yup iso.. have been holding lol.. hope that your prediction comes true, then i may offload before the debt issue depending on how serious ppl perceive it and then wait for the debt issue to clear before probably coming back to ipco again.. i enjoy both Bigmama and your posting.. serve like yin and yang balance lol.. so whether or not the prediction of 5 cent before 1st May comes true, hope both of u will hang around..

Not many can see the value of hidden gem.... Those who can see it just hold on to it and dont fall into their trap to panic sell... Enjoy...
I do hope ipco will rise soon, because in the few weeks time, the debt issue of US will surface, and given the record high for DOW jones, this debt issue will likely serve as a reason for significant correction.. bad market sentiment in US likely will have significant negative effect on performance of stocks here..
unfortunately, alot ppl do not make an effort to at least read up a bit of the company info, and just read newspaper and follow the crowd.. good figures make sense only if ppl see it as good, and if they do see them in the first place, from reading financial reports for instance..

a lot of time, i dunno if i shld be rational or not when buying/selling stocks, 'cos apparently, market is irrational, as we can see from ipco that is underperformed, & some stocks that overperform & chiong too high than it should like WE for eg.. it's like studying psychology lol.. just could not understand why ppl like to short this stock, and really hope it's 'cos of some fundamental reasons that i dunno that is pressing the price down, rather than cos of irrational behaviour that's pressing it down..

in fact, if you look at a value investing perspective, as profits grow, you are getting a better bargain each day, assuming stock price remains the same.
Yeah. And the profits they made are REALIZED profits. Means they sold and made money already. Don't forget they also have 70 million of paper profits waiting for them. ( although it could vary by the time they sold). So it pissed me off when some ppl talk nonsense and try to mislead ppl to sell.

and i dont understand how come a company who is at least making a profit underperforms compare to other pennies who doesnt even earn money and chiong just 'cos of news & rumors and had not realized the profit yet.. im still kinda upset at why our newspaper correspondence goh eng siao use ipco as an example of trash stock, and not other penny stocks that really chiong when they dont even make profit.. i remember on the day where ipco chiong, think either carriernet or nextgencomm chiong with 2nd highest volume also.. and ipco only chiong like just 20+% that day, compare to 100+% for that 2nd highest volume stock.. certainly i believe ipco is performing better in terms of profit, fundamentals & support from BB like Datok and Edward Lee.. i believe some people are still vary about ipco 'cos of the old media report..
Now innopac and blumont run more ..feed the parents parents will also book more gains. Ipco should go up!
base on this few days high shorting volume, assuming 2 scenario, 1. shorters have covered back what they short, 2. shorters have not covered back what they short
1. assuming shorters had covered what they short, despite shorters trying to short, ipco price hard to force down, meaning those who long do not want to sell lower anymore and the shorters covered back so that they dont get caught off guard, especially this few days with news of strong profit..
2. assuming that shorters have not covered what they short, this will be the better scenario as they need to cover, giving additional push in the event ipco suddenly chiong..
