I not vest, sorry for missing the " not vested" .   Typo.

I was saying in general, as I didn't have any actual figures in hand together with the fact that am vested in Ipco.

But based on what you provided, it might seem that 114m is in non-current assets (2.4 cents).   As non current assets are not easily disposable, and plant & equip may be subject to depreciation and impairment.   We have heard and seen, total write-off by some companies of their non tangible assets before.   Thus unless the company has huge reserves, then the possibility for general offer or privatization is feasible.

My thoughts only..   Cheers..

Friend, correct me if I am wrong for the following figures from the 3Q report

NET asset 338M( NAV 7¢ ) in which 224M is financial assets which is about 4.6¢ (other asset include 46M plant/equipment and intangible asset 51M)

The financial asset alone is about 50% above the curent share price 3¢ …

I dont have any info about this guy except think that it is relatively a good value penny among the junk!

Cheers friend

Hi friend,
After trading stock for so long I also jolly well know that all kind of analyses are nothing compare to having insider information ! So whether you use FA or TA, it is only as a guide…
happy trading…

Highly impossible due to the fact that there is just a small difference of trading price and book Nav.   Nobody go for this type of   " small gains" which might even become a " serious loss" taking into consideration many factors such as costs, administrative expenditures, engaging lawyers and consultants, reviewing assets and due diligence,   and so many other hidden costs.

Beta looks backward and history is not always an accurate predictor of the future.

WE Holdings beta is below 1, does that make it a low risk stock??

akchua      ( Date: 25-Mar-2013 12:56) Posted:

Ipco is a low beta stock, not meant for speculation if you are looking for one. Buy and keep if you believe in their story. Should see more movement after Malaysia General Election.

I guess Datuk and Lee may have some Malaysia project to inject into Ipco but not a good time to do it now. I read from some news, Anwar not going to honor Iskandar project if opposition win the JB state. Anyone read that news?

what i think is 'cos of the long buy & sell queue ipco has.. other pennies have much shorter queue and is prone for speculation..

Ipco consider better than many other penny stocks, but why they have gone up quite a lot and Ipco still at 0.029?
