and all others Asia bourses is also in redas well.

It's caused by North / South Korea cross border artillery firing tension, however STI still remain in sub-due mode in coming, just be more aware of changing trench, wait till Friday, still early day.

Still, I did not expect the North Korea, after the North send warning sign that goes un-answer, they answer by firing their artilley shell to rise tension and to register their unhappiness that South has their Army is execising at the tense border.

Although I largely agree in principle with Sifu Pharoah 's 'coin flip' notion,

I am an ardent chartist myself. And without the charts,

I am totally unable to function as a trader/investor ( I am both).

I won't call that TA, though...

because it is just simple charting which I do.

But a chart is just a chart... it's only a map of past prices and transactions.

Like I always say, no one knows the trend, until after the event.

in other words, trend cannot be predicted, but only observed as it occurs.

If this were not so, any serious fund manager can simply 'whack'

all available money at their disposal on their bets... Smiley

TOKYO, Nov 22 - Japan's Nikkei share average rose 1.1 percent and hit a fresh five-month intraday high on Monday, after having risen last week on the back of short-covering and year-end portfolio tweaking by overseas investors.

The benchmark Nikkei <.N225> was up 1.1 percent at 10,129.99, having touched a five-month intraday peak of 10,136.09. The broader Topix index <.TOPX> rose 0.8 percent to 876.25.

teeth53 thot - Monday, start on a weak note (no bull factor stories to tell), STI may end -neg to moderate flat. While news is all about groomy trouble around us, there's some bright spot here in asia bourses.

S$6.5 billion is what has been mentioned by ST paper (news) to built RWS and some forumers mentioned - 15 years got no dividends distribution to share holders.

The amount RWS every Q x 4 per year may take as many as 6.5 years to pay back, let assume every year, 1 billion is return plus with interest.

To return equity to share holders, the faster way is to rise fund where all the reason, more to return bank loan, just like rising fund by ipo for new companies tapping public fund.

On this note - Genting sp  boss may do so when Genting SP px hit a high.

While information is always distinctively late and trading always coming in fast and ferocious at the fore. Forming very own decision wisely is as difficult as finding a pin in the ocean. When oneself is in d picture, it can always as good as not been able to tell what is good, bad or ugly. it is always human, to error...the less prone mistake decision make, the better.
In others word - stay outside of the picture and can see more or less, the truth self of it.

teeth53 - just giving my personnal opinion, as there r as many others may have alot to differentiate it as well.

coming Mnoday, start on a weak note (no bull factor stories to tell), STI may end -neg to moderate flat.

(To each it own, hope U chose d right choice...Happy trading..Ya.)
