STI ends 4 days winning streak--on profit taking, cautious mode ahead of US non-farm payroll figures.
Chart For STX OSV HLDGS LTD NPVPlayers and stake holders confident is rising, it touch a high of $1.23c, $TXO$V ends up (different stock, different winning streak)

Hi gold and all, sori for late reponse (anyway trade halted today). Would like to share my thot.

All is not lost, nothing can be un-done. If vested stay alert then.

This isn't good sign or bad sign, as mkt will continue to punt when CGX halted is release is announce, just have to wait it out if pay up liao, if not bearing increasing risk factor and level of comfort one is comfortable with the stress level, don lost over sleep.

As the Korean side may also want to have some meat left to punt as well. How high they punt ? - I'm bluff too.

One step at a time, critical time to let go, when it time, esp 1st morning when share is hype up on punting mkt.

Today 12-01-2011 (Wed - CGX halted), 13-01-2011 (Thurs) Watch SGX morning news, stay alert on weather CGX will be release for trading or not ??. my thot indicate - only after trading hours on 13-01-2011 (Thurs)

Credit Suisse initiates coverage on STX OSV Holdings (MS7.SG) at Outperform with a $1.55 target. It says despite the stock’s 50% rally since listing in November, “there is still 30% upside as the cyclical recovery in demand for offshore support vessels strengthens going forward.” 

The house expects momentum for OSVs to remain strong due to: improving charter rates in 2011, low orderbook/fleet ratio of less than 20% and attractive after-tax returns on newbuilds. “STX OSV should benefit significantly as the largest producer of high-end OSVs,” it says.

It notes strong order momentum should drive outperformance, while valuation and dividend yield are attractive. It says the stock is trading at 9.3X 2011E P/E vs Sembcorp Marine (S512.SG) which is trading at 17.6X and Keppel (BN4.SG) at 14.4X; its own target is based on 12.0X. 

 

It also notes, the company’s 2011 dividend yield of 3.2% is one of the highest in the sector.

Be careful while investing, punting and or trading.

Amtek - Trade with care, BBs selling down also. During the period from 10 to 11 January 2011,.

Standard Chartered PLC sold down 30.3% to 28.3%.

A series of on-market transactions by Aranda Investments Pte. Ltd. ("Aranda") which decreased its interest from 5.39% to 4.96% and Aranda ceased to be a substantial shareholder on 11 January 2011.

Aranda is a wholly owned subsidiary of Seletar which is in turn a wholly owned subsidiary of TC. TC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Temasek.

Accordingly, Temasek, TC and Seletar ceased to be substantial shareholders on 11 January 2011.

Mkt punching/punting, the high the better for CGX owner and underwriters to determining the offer px.

The higher px it goes, the less left forKoreans mkt to eat and play with....

Read like underwriters may release news on 13-01-2011 (Thues) after KOSPI trading hours.

Nothing much can be done for calling and alling more re-enforcement to pump up.
